Gereaua
Gereaua is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Sapindaceae.[1] It only contains one species, Gereaua perrieri (Capuron) Buerki & Callm.[2]

Its native range is Madagascar.[1]
The genus name is in honour of Roy Emile Gereau (b. 1947), an American botanist and explorer.[3] The specific Latin epithet of perrieri is in honour of Joseph Marie Henry Alfred Perrier de la Bâthie (1873–1958), a French botanist who studied Madagascan plants.
It was first described and published in Syst. Bot. Vol.35 on page 178 in 2010.[1]
