Gerard Kassar

Gerard Kassar, also known as Jerry Kassar, is an American political operative. He is currently the chairman of the Conservative Party of New York, a role he has served in since 2019.

Kassar began his political working in senior staff roles in theassembly minority. Later, he worked for State Senator Marty Golden as his chief of staff. He eventually became the chairman of the Brooklyn Conservative Party.[1]

In 2019, Kassar became the chairman of the Conservative Party of New York, succeeding Michael Long.[1] Throughout his tenure as chairman, the party has maintained a close working relationship with the New York Republican State Committee and Nick Langworthy.[2]

Additionally, he writes for the publication The Brooklyn Reporter.[3]

Kassar is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, New York.[4]
