Frank Scott Bunnell High School

Frank Scott Bunnell High School is an accredited[1] high school in Stratford, Connecticut, United States. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12 as part of Stratford Public Schools. The school mascot is the bulldog, and the school colors are blue, gold and white. The Interim Principal as of July, 2021 is Dr. Katie Graf, with Mr. Christopher J. Koch, Mr. John Ramos II, and Mr. Francis Tatto serving as Assistant Principals.

Recognitions

The Bunnell High School Marching Band has been state champions nine times, and has played at the Citrus Bowl, Hollywood Christmas Parade, and Tournament of Roses Parade.[9]

The Bunnell High School Football team won back to back state championships in 2006 and 2007 with a combined 25–1 record, while led by alumnus Craig Bruno (Class of 1986). [10] [11]

In 2010, Physics teacher Kristen Record received the [Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching].[12]

In 2011, Athletic Director, David Johnson was named National High School Athletic Director of the Year.[13]
