Music
Frailty has been described as being, or influenced by, digicore,[1] indie rock,[4] hyperpop,[2] emo,[2] emo-electronic,[1] EDM,[2] and dariacore (a microgenre invented by dltzk).[2][4]
Influences
Frailty's sound was in part inspired by the soundtracks of video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Black and White, and Undertale.[5][4] Dltzk was also influenced by artists such as Skrillex and Porter Robinson.[2] Dltzk stated that their "biggest inspirations as of today are my friends".[5] As Grant Sharples of Paste explains, Dltzk's influences are "scattered throughout, but [the album] remains Dltzk's show first and foremost".[2]
