Finn Ravndal

Finn Ravndal (born 1942) is a Norwegian physicist.

Hailing from Nesna, he took his dr.ing. degree at the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1968 and the PHD at the California Institute of Technology in 1971. His specialties became elementary particle physics and quantum field theory. After a stint at the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics he became professor of theoretical physics at the University of Oslo in 1976.[1] He is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.[2]
