Release

"Fall Behind Me" was posted online on September 1, 2004; Gold Medal followed on October 26, 2004.[12] It was one of the first albums released in the DualDisc format, but was recalled due to a mastering error which resulted in the final track being partially omitted from the CD side of the album.[13] The DualDisc version of the album came with a black velvet limited edition cover slip and the music video for "Fall Behind Me" on the DVD side. On January 26, 2005, the music video for "I Don't Want to Know" was posted online.[14] In March 2005, the band performed at the South by Southwest music conference.[15]

As of 2005 it has sold 66,000 units in United States according to Nielsen SoundScan.[16]
