FK Šilas Kazlų Rūda
FK Šilas is a Lithuanian football club from the city of Kazlų Rūda. The team competes in the I Lyga, in second tier of Lithuanian football since 2021.[2]

History
Šilas was founded in 1940 as FK Ąžuolas. Later was renamed few times. In 2016 they won I Lyga and hoped for prototion to A Lyga, but after match fixing scandal they was relegated to II Lyga. Officially administration of FK Šilas declarated, that they have financial problems and can`t play in A Lyga or I Lyga.[3] FK Šilas lost place in A Lyga and FK Kauno Žalgiris was save from relegation to I Lyga.[4]
Few years in third level was differnently: in 2017 they was in 10th position and later was one of the leaders in league.
In 2020 they won II Lyga Southern zone championship and was promoted to 2021 I Lyga. In 2021 club got licence for First League and currently play in I Lyga. In the final stage they was in winners group and eneded season in the third place.
