History
It made headlines in 2020 when it was nearly bulldozed by the local government because of a "lack of communication" between government agencies.[3][4][5][6] The historic building was spared from demolition after an outcry from the general public. This incident has increased awareness by the general public of the value of the few remaining local heritage structures.
