European Society for Hyperthermic Oncology
The European Society for Hyperthermic Oncology (ESHO) was founded in 1987 in England to promote, for the public benefit, fundamental and applied research in physics, engineering, biological, and clinical sciences relating to the use of hyperthermia in cancer therapy. It seeks to facilitate integration and exchange of information between different disciplines in the study of the biological effects of heat in the treatment of cancer, either alone or combined with other cancer treatment modalities.
The registered office of the Society is in Rotterdam, Netherlands.[1] The official scientific journal of ESHO is the International Journal of Hyperthermia.
