Eugène Baudouin was a Impressionist painter, printmaker and illustrator.
Eugène BAUDOUIN studied under Jean-Léon Gérôme, then under Jules Didier (1831-1914), Auguste-Barthélemy Glaize, Léopold Flameng; exhibited on a regular basis at the Paris Salon until his death in 1893. His landscapes are constructed along schematic lines and on a succession of levels, the overall effect being to impart a sense of panorama to his work.
