Donald Whatley Roy
Donald Whatley Roy FRCS FRCOG (1881-1960) was a British obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Samaritan Hospital for Women and St George's Hospital, London.[1][2]

He was born at Appleton Roebuck on May 22, 1881, the son of the Rev. James Roy.[2]
He served with the Royal Navy and then with the Royal Army Medical Corps at the Northampton War Hospital during the First World War. He was a foundation fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.[3]
He died on December 9, 1960, and was survived by his wife and three children, one of whom was the economist A.D. Roy.[2][4]
