Dior Johnson

Dior Johnson (born January 28, 2004) is an American basketball player who attends Southern California Academy in Los Angeles, California. Committed to Oregon, he is a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2022 class.[1]

Early life

Johnson was born in Kingston, New York, on January 28, 2004. Dior was raised by his single mother and his grandmother. By the age of 12 he was already playing with future NBA players such as Isaiah Stewart.[2]

High school career

Throughout his high school career, Johnson has played for 10 high schools in 5 different states.[3] Most recently he helped lead Centennial High School to a 21–2 record and a State Championship.[4]

Recruiting

Johnson is a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2022 class. On February 7, 2020, he committed to playing college basketball for Syracuse before decommitting nine months later. On June 22, 2021, he committed to Oregon.
