Dawlatshah Samarqandi

Dawlatshah Samarqandi (1438 – 1495/1507) was a poet and biographer active under the Timurid Empire, who is notable for composing the Tadhkirat al-shu'ara ("Memorial of poets"), a biographical dictionary of 152 poets, in addition to important historical information regarding Timurid Iran.[1][2]
