Dateline Philippines is the flagship midday newscast of the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) that talks about the day's major stories from politics, business, sports, entertainment, international and local headlines. Its broadcast focuses on news from the country's more than 7,000 islands gathered by ABS-CBN Regional stations (formerly ABS-CBN Regional Network Group), the most extensive news-gathering group nationwide.

It is one of the original newscast of Sarimanok News Network (now ANC) notable being the network's longest running originally cable national newscast. Originally anchored by Frankie Evangelista, Gene Orejana and Joyce Burton-Titular, It premiered on July 8, 1996. Present primarily anchors by Karmina Constantino and on weekdays and by Raine Musngi on weekends. It airs daily at 12:00 NN to 1:00 PM (PST).

Covid-19 Pandemic

However, the production of the newscast's Sunday edition was halted on March 22, 2020, due to the enhanced community quarantine done to help control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines and was replaced by provisional programming from the ANC on the same date, as well as the extended edition of Headstart From April 26, 2020 when the timesharing of programming between both DZMM TeleRadyo & ANC ended. It’s Airs Monday-Saturday at 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
