- In the final round, Kym Johnson helped Aaron and Rashell, Maksim Chmerkovskiy helped Jaryd and Cara, and Ashly DelGrosso helped Brandon and Brittany.
- Both dancers in the winning pair, Brandon Armstrong and Brittany Cherry, would go on to be cast as dancers on Dancing with the Stars. Armstrong joined the troupe in season 24 and became a professional partner starting in season 27,[1] while Cherry has been in the troupe since season 20.[2]
