Cyperus alopecuroides

Cyperus alopecuroides, commonly known as the foxtail flatsedge,[2] is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Australia.[3]

The perennial and rhizomatous sedge typically grows to a height of 1 to 1.5 metres (3.3 to 4.9 ft). The plant blooms between May and July producing yellow-brown flowers.[3]

In Western Australia, it is found around lakes and swamps in the eastern Kimberley region.[3]
