Ctenacanthoidea

Ctenacanthoidea is an extinct superfamily of prehistoric sharks. These nectonic carnivores of actively mobile appeared 407 Ma ago, and managed to survive until the early Miocene (Wodnika). Its distribution is practically worldwide.[2]
