Crusaders F.C. (Brentwood)

Crusaders Football Club was an English football club based in the Brentwood district of Essex, playing at the County Cricket Ground at Shenfield Road. Until 1887 the club was known as Brentwood F.C.[1]

They entered the FA Cup during the 1880s and 1890s, but never progressed beyond the fourth round.[2] In 1889, they faced Royal Arsenal in the FA Cup third qualifying round with future powerhouses Arsenal winning 5–2.

Colours

The club's colours were chocolate and magenta.[3]
