Craig Freer is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played for Parramatta and Balmain.

Freer played for the Burleigh Bears in the 1998, where he was referred to as the King of Melbas until an unfortunate incident involving a meter maid, an ibis and Ellery Hanley resulted in him being banned from the suburb of Surfers Paradise for 23 months. He is the father of Kobey Freer, a professional park cricketer Queensland Cup.[4]
