Clarence Deming

Clarence Deming (October 1, 1848 – May 8, 1913) was a college football and baseball player for the Yale Bulldogs' early teams.[1][2] He was for two years captain of the baseball team.[3] He was later a journalist and frequent contributor to the New York Evening Post,[4] an editorial writer for the Railway Age Gazette, and a writer on athletics[5] and Yale history in general.[6][7]
