Civil Aviation High School, Tejgaon

Civil Aviation School and College (Tejgaon) is a school situated in Old Airport Road, Tejgaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1963 over a land measuring 1.71 acres (6,900 m2). The school was known as Staff Welfare High School but after some years it was opened for all students. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board of Dhaka. Currently, it is directed by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.[1]

In this school, students (both boys and girls) from KG to 10th class are taught by experienced teachers to preparing them for secondary examination. There are three groups in this school for secondary examination- Science, Business Studies and Arts.

Recently it has opened a college section and English version school.

History

The school started its activities in 1983 under the name of Staff Welfare Fair High School. In 1997, the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority renamed the school as Civil Aviation High School. It was later established as the Civil Aviation School and College. In 2016, English medium was introduced here. On 19 June 2017, the institution was approved to teach in class XI.
