Cirkus (film)
Cirkus is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment.[2] The film stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma.[3][4] It is officially adapted from Angoor (1982) which was based on Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.[5] It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances.[6][7]

Principal photography commenced on 17 November 2020 in Mumbai.[8] It has been described as a period comedy set in the 1960s.[9] The film was initially scheduled to release theatrically on 31 December 2021 but due to shooting delays, it was postponed to release theatrically on 13 March 2023.[10]

Release
Cirkus was previously scheduled to release on 31 December 2021,[14] but was later postponed due to shooting delays.
