Two years later, in 1993, the song "Gypsy Honeymoon" would be re-recorded and released as a single in Europe only. The track would be included on and become the title of an internationally released greatest hits album, Gypsy Honeymoon: The Best of Kim Carnes.
The album also contains a re-recording of the track "Hangin' On by a Thread (A Sad Affair of the Heart)", originally taken from Carnes' album Café Racers. "Independent Girl" was released as a mini CD single in Japan on November 1, 1991, containing the song "Mutual Attraction" as its B-side.[3]
