Central, Tanga District
Central is an administrative ward in Tanga District of Tanga Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 3.8 km2 (1.5 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 10 m (33 ft).[2] According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of 5,739.[3] The ward seat is Halmashauri ya Jiji.[4]
