Bolhrad Raion
Bolhrad Raion (Ukrainian: Болградський район; Romanian: Raionul Bolgrad) is a raion (district) in Odessa Oblast of Ukraine. It is part of the historical region of Bessarabia. Its administrative center is the town of Bolhrad. Population: 146,424 (2021 est.)[1]

On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Odessa Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Bolhrad Raion was significantly expanded. [2][3] The January 2020 estimate of the raion population was 66,666 (2020 est.)[4]
