Big East–Big 12 Battle

The Big East–Big 12 Battle is an annual NCAA college basketball series in which 10 of the 11 teams from the Big East face the 10 teams of the Big 12 conference.[1][2] The contract is set for four years, with the series to be played annually from 2019 through 2022.[3] Unlike in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the teams in the Big East-Big 12 Battle do not face each other all on the same day. Instead, they play each other over the span of as much as a month.

The inaugural series began in December 2019, with the Big East winning 8–2.

Four games of the 2020 series were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two conferences split the six games that were played, 3–3. UConn, in its first season in the Big East after moving from the American Athletic Conference, did not take part in 2020.

Big 12 home games air on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC and ESPN+, while Big East home games air on Fox and FS1.
