Bhartendra Arun

Bhartendra Arun is an Indian politician and member of Bahujan Samaj Party, He was Candidate of Agra Cantonment (Assembly constituency), 18th Uttar Pradesh Assembly from Bahujan Samaj Party. [1][2] He received 54.5k votes and a 21.6 percent vote share. [3]

Early life and education

Bhartendra Arun was born in the village Gummat takht pahalwan in Agra, Uttar Pradesh India in 1975. He belongs to the scheduled caste community. Arun highest attained education is Phd from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Prior to joining politics, Arun is the director of Agra's Kamla Arun Inter College.

Political career

Arun became a member of the BSP during the Manyawar Kanshi Ram Movement. Dr. Bhartendra Arun has held a variety of posts within the Bahujan Samaj Party, and now Mayawati has appointed him as President of the Agra Region following the Bahujan Samaj Party's defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly election.
