Bethel Hill, North Carolina

Bethel Hill is a neighborhood in Person County, in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

Geography

Bethel Hill is located along U.S. Route 501. Following the 501, the site is 9 miles north of Roxboro. It is considered a rural neighborhood.[1]

Demographics

Enlisted military personnel comprise the majority number of residents living in Bethel Hill. Residents are mostly middle-income workers. 37.1% of working residents have occupations in executive management, 29% of residents work in manufacturing and labor. 19.6% of residents work in sales and service jobs and 13% work in clerical, assistant or tech support jobs. Bethel Hill is occupied by 10.9% White, 1.7% Latino and 1.5% of other ancestry.[2]

Education

The community is served by the Bethel Hill Charter School located in Roxboro, NC. Primary education is available through the Person County School District.
