Basco Othukkungal

BASCO Othukkungal is an Indian professional football club based in Othukkungal 2021-22 Season Sponsors Janatha TMT neighbourhood of Malappuram, Kerala. It is one of the oldest functioning club in Kerala. They compete in Kerala Premier League,[1][2][3]and were also nominated for the I-League Second Division.[4]

History

BASCO played in the inaugural season (2015) of short lived Malabar Premier League under franchise name BASCO Blasters. BASCO's managed to reach semi finals of their first season (2020–21) of Kerala Premier League. They lost to KSEB in penalties after 3–3 draw in the regular time.[5] In July, the club was nominated for 2021–22 I-League 2nd division by Kerala Football Association
