Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College
Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College, also known as Rastraguru Surendranath College, established in 1953,[1] is a general degree college in Barrackpore. The college has received "College with Potential for Excellence" status by University Grant Commission, India. It Is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, fourth cycle NAAC "B++" grade institution having ISO14001:2015 certified environment friendly campuses. The college also received ISO 45001:2018 for health and safety. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. There is also postgraduation course in commerce and some of science and arts subject. The college also offer sports, gymnasium, add on courses, job training and campus placement facility. The college have academic and cultural collaboration with Shri Guru Ram Rai PG College, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. The college also offer NCC and NSS for its students. It is affiliated to West Bengal State University.[2]

Accreditation
Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[1] Recently, it has been re-accredited third cycle result grade A (3.08) and previously awarded B grade (2.83) by the NAAC in second cycle by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.[3]
