The state constituency was created in the 2018 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly under the first past the post voting system.

2018–present:[1] The constituency contains the polling districts of SS 21 Utara, SS 20, Seksyen 17A, Damansara Jaya Utara, SS 2 Utara, Seksyen 19, SS 2 Tengah, SS 23, SS 24, SS 26, Kampung Chempaka, SS 25, SS 4, SS 2 Selatan, Seksyen 21 Barat, SS 21 Selatan, Damansara Jaya Selatan.
