Bad Boy (upcoming film)

Bad Boy is an upcoming Indian Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Sajid Qureshi.[1] The film marks the debut of Namashi Chakraborty, son of actor Mithun Chakraborty, and producer Sajid Qureshi's daughter Amrin in lead roles.[2][3][4]

Rajkumar Santoshi announced in May 2019 that he is going to direct a romantic comedy launching Namashi, and producer Sajid Qureshi's daughter Amrin. He stated that romantic comedy is his favourite genre, and said in a statement, "We have come up with an interesting and quirky story with Bad Boy and together with producer Sajid Qureshi hope to give audiences an exciting entertainer."[1]

Filming

The principal photography started in Bengaluru in June 2019, and was completed in 60 days.[5]

Music

Himesh Reshammiya composed the music for the film. The lyrics are written by Sameer. According to Reshammiya he has composed five romantic songs for the film with which youth can connect them. Tanishk Bagchi will recreate the title track from the movie Good Boy Bad Boy and will name the song "Bad Bad Boy" “Mujhe Ghar Mein Roti Chahiye” “Evening in Tokyo” and “Aya Re Aya Re” While judging the 11th season of Indian Idol Himesh offered a song to Sunny Hindustani which is a duet song and its female part was already sung by Asees Kaur.[6] Arijit Singh and Alka Yagnik were confirmed singer for a duet and Raftaar was announced to sing the rap versions of the songs.[7][8]
