History

The EP was released without announcement, with a post from the band on Instagram announcing the EP the same day as release.[2] As most albums released by the band on Bandcamp, the EP was priced at $6.66 for purchase.[3] The EP was self-released, though did see a limited cassette release distributed by Lauren Records, with only 500 copies, 200 in white and 300 clear, being made.[4]

A few of the songs, including "American Body Rentals" and "Fuckboi" would go on to be preformed by the band live during their People Who Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the World 10 Year Anniversary tour, which would begin only two days before the release of the EP.

Sean Crawford of Punknews.org rated the EP 3 out of 5 stars, stating "While I have no problem with the presentation or sound of this EP, I can’t see myself coming back to it all too much in subsequent years. That’s not to say that these songs are bad or poorly written, but they don’t live up to the standard that AJJ have set for themselves with their earlier acoustically driven records."[5]
