Then in 2021, New York City Department of Correction Commissioner Vincent Schiraldi appointed Rehman as Deputy Commissioner of Legal Matters and General Counsel for the department where he oversaw the agency’s legal operations and provided advice and counsel to agency leadership.[5]
On March 29, 2022, Mayor Eric Adams appointed Rehman as OATH Commissioner and Chief Administrative Law Judge.[1]
