Arie Widiawan

Arie Widiawan Riadi, better known by he Arie Widiawan (born in Sukabumi on 7 January 1975), is an Indonesian singer, voice over and announcer. He was a member of Lingua.[1][2]

Career

Arie was born in Sukabumi, on 7 January 1975. He was a teenager in 1995, when he started his career as a background singer of various singers, one of which was backing singer Iwa K. In 1996 he founded with Amara, and Frans Mohede, the vocal trio, Lingua. An Indonesian musical group of country pop.[3]

In addition to being active as a singer, Arie also works as a presenter[1] and voice actor, he mostly voices cartoons and advertisements, especially radio advertisements.[4] In addition, Arie is also a radio announcer at several radio stations in Bandung.[1] He is also actively teaching as a vocal instructor at a music school in Bandung. Arie had worked as a financial consultant in an insurance company but did not last long, one of the jobs he had been involved in outside the world of entertainment.
