Scandals
On September 13th, 2019, a student named Maryn Holler posted an image of the lunch served that day on Facebook, where it subsequently went viral. Her post included the following quote: "it’s honestly sad to know that we go to school and pay around 3 dollars for something that cost .50 cents to make."[3]
The school district later posted a public announcement regarding the lunch, stating “Oops! We goofed!” and referring to the menu item as “not a winner!”
