Anthony Mastalir

Anthony Joseph Mastalir[2] (born c.1972) is a United States Space Force colonel currently standing up U.S Space Forces Central Command. Previously he was commander of the Space Launch Delta 30, and Deputy Director, Space Security and Defense Program, Colorado Springs, Colorado.[3][4][5][6]

Mastalir earned his commission as a graduate of Northwestern University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. In the past he has completed a series of operational, staff and command assignments in satellite launch, on-orbit command and control, ICBM launch, space control, policy, space security and defense, and legislative affairs. Mastalir has led organizations responsible for developing and integrating innovative space capabilities; planning and executing exercises and wargames; providing intelligence support; conducting operational test and evaluation; and developing advanced space training and tactics.[3]

In April 2022, Mastalir was nominated for promotion to brigadier general.[7]

Personal life

Mastalir is the son of Joseph Mastalir and Suzanne Russell, both from Green Bay, Wisconsin.[9] He is married to Danielle Patrice Bailey of Atlanta, Georgia with whom he has a daughter and a son.[10][11]
