Andrea Conway

Andrea competed in artistic gymnastics on a national level representing Quebec.[3] In 1987 she represented Canada at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis, Indiana winning a bronze medal[4] for team Canada.[5]

Andrea was an original cast member in Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco. She spent 8 years (1992 - 2000) touring with Cirque du Soleil ; Chinese poles, Russian swing.[6][7]

In 2001 she was cast in Teatro Zinzanni. She went on to collaborate in 18 Teatro Zinzanni productions in San Francisco and Seattle.[8][9][10]

Andrea also co-wrote and co-directed for 2 Teatro Zinzanni productions.[11][12]

She appears in several Teatro Zinzanni shows with husband Wayne Doba as the tap dancing comedy duo “Dik and Mitzi”.[13][14][15][16]

Andrea Conway (Doba) is married to Wayne Doba who is also her on stage partner the other Half of “Dik and Mitzi”. They tour their 2-person shows in small theaters across the U.S. and Canada.[20][21][22][23]

In 2016 she went into kidney failure, spent two years on dialysis before undergoing a successful kidney transplant, generously given by an anonymous donor. She shares her experiences writing in a seasonal bilingual news paper published in Quebec,Canada.[24][25]
