Andrés Felipe Cabrera is a Miami-based make-up artist and hairstylist, best known as the make-up and hairstyle director of the Miss Universe pageant.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and career

Cabrera was born in Armenia, Colombia and moved to the United States at a young age. Before starting his make-up career, he worked in dance and theater. In 2016, he was hired by Clarissa Molina, host of Univision Network to work as her makeup artist for different TV shows.[1] Andres Felipe was appointed director of makeup department of Miss Universe in 2019 and right after he’s journey with beauty pageants, he decided to launched MUBA Cosmetics, a line of beauty products. Cabrera is the CEO and founder of MUBA Studio in Miami, where he is the director and makeup artist. Continuing in 2020-2022 as director of makeup and hairstyle under MUBA Cosmetics, Andres Felipe keeps working with different beauty pageants and celebrities such as Ivy Queen, Olga Tanon, Zuleika Rivera, Jackie Guerrido, Raul de Molina and Lupita Jones, among many others. His work also has appeared in commercials, music videos and live production. His clients include Coca Cola, Chanel, Telemundo, Teleton USA, Univision, Billboard Latin Music Awards, El Gordo y La Flaca and Lo Nuestro Awards.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
