An Xiangyi
An Xiangyi (Chinese: 安香怡; pinyin: An Xiāngyí; born December 24, 2006) is a Chinese figure skater. She is the champion of the 2020 Chinese Figure Skating Championships, 2021 China Figure Skating Club League Finals and Advanced Novice Girls competition at the Asian Trophy in 2019.

Career
Early years
Motivated by father An Longhe, a former Chinese figure skater, An Xiangyi started skating when she was born. According to Chinese media, An Xiangyi trained 5-6 hours a day, approximately 30 hours a week, which is equivalent to a professional skater's training capacity.[1]
2018–2019 season
An Xiangyi competed in the first Beijing Winter Games(北京市第一届运动会) and have got the gold medal with a total score of 102.55 marks (28.06 in the short program and 74.49 in the free program).[2] She later competed in The 2nd National Youth Games(第二届全国青年运动会), again being the champion by getting 56.69 marks and 93.01 marks in the short program and free skating respectively[3]
2019–2020 season
An Xiangyi topped the podium in 2020 Chinese Figure Skating Championships, with a score of 197.93 in total, surpassing silver medalist Chen Hongyi by over 21 points. She also topped the podium in two stops of the China Figure Skating Club League. During the 2019–2020 season, An Xiangyi debuted internationally, in the Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy. She got 45.62 marks in the short program and 93.01 in the free skating, getting the gold medal in Advanced Novice Girls with a total of 138.63 marks.[4]
2020–2021 season
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all national competitions were cancelled in this season, thus she could not partake in major competitions
2021–2022 season
Due to several coronavirus outbreaks and COVID19 protocols in China, the 2021 National Figure Skating Grand Prix (全国花样滑冰大奖赛) and China Figure Skating Club League Finals(全国花样滑冰具乐部联赛总决赛) were held virtually, competitors will need to send competition clips to the federation to have their scores accessed. In the Club League Finals, An Xiangyi top the podium by getting 174.08 points in total(63.00 in the short program and 111.08 in the free skating)[5].While in the Grand Prix, An Xiangyi got a total of 170.27 points, topping the podium, successfully defending her title.[6]
