Amir Hani Muslim
Amir Hani Muslim (born 1 April 1952) is a retired Pakistani jurist.[1] He served as judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan prior to his retirement on 31 March 2017.[2]
Career
In 1981, Hani started his legal career.[3] On 27 August 2002, Hani was appointed as judge of the Sindh High Court. He was one of those judges who refused to take oath under the Provisional Constitutional Order of November 2007. In February 2011, Justice Hani was elevated as the judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.[2] In January 2018, he was appointed as the head of the judicial commission probing Sindh’s water supply and sanitation issues.[4] In December 2018, upon his request he was relieved of his duties as the chairman of the Supreme Court-appointed judicial commission on water and sanitation.[5][6]
