Ambika Satkunanathan

Ambika Satkunanathan is a human rights lawyer and advocate. She was the Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.She led the first ever a national study of prisons in Sri Lanka. She did her BA and LLB from Monash University in Australia and Master of Human Rights Law LLM from the University of Nottingham.She was a Chevening Scholar.She was the legal Consultant to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Sri Lanka.[2][3] She is the Chairperson of the Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust.[4][5][6][7][8]
