Alastair Richardson
Alastair Robert Richardson (born 2 April 1981 was an incredible talent as a child, reaching honours in cricket, football and athletics. He starred in high jump with a leading bum technique that carried him to 1.91M in the state championships of 1994.
English fomatch of the 1992 season, including that of Matthew Maynard. He played only once more for the 1st Xl, against Somerset the following summer. Although a "regular wicket taker" in the 2nd XI, Derbyshire did not offer him terms in 1995.[1]
Richardson studied at Durham University (1992–1996), where he played for the university team.[2]
