Agni Sakshi (1982 film)

Agni Sakshi (transl.With Fire as Witness) is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language psychological drama film directed by K. Balachander, starring Sivakumar and Saritha. It revolves around a schizophrenic woman who has difficulty differentiating fiction from reality.

Plot

Aravindhan runs a dance school where he falls for his student Kannama. After marriage, troubles start as Kannama's conduct is incompatible. Aravindhan is now in a fix between love and betrayal.

Agni Sakshi was released on 14 November 1982,[7] and failed commercially.[1] However, Saritha won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.[3]
