Aea (mythology)
In Greek mythology according to Homer, Aea (Ancient Greek: Αιαἶα - Αἶα) was a huntress of Colchis who was metamorphosed into the fabulous island bearing the same name in order to rescue her from the pursuit of Phasis, the River-God.[1][2]
