Abai Region

Abai Region is a prospective region of Kazakhstan. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced on 16 March 2022 that the region will be created. The area will be split off from East Kazakhstan Region. The administrative center of the region will be Semey.[1]
