2023 Pakistan Super League
2023 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 8 or for sponsorship reasons HBL PSL 2023) will be the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. Pakistan Cricket Board's chairman Ramiz Raja has announced plans to hold matches in Quetta, Peshawar, and Multan during the 2023 season. In the previous iteration of this tournament in 2022, matches were only held in Lahore and Karachi.[1][2] He has also announced plans to introduce an auction to replace the draft for the 2023 version of the tournament.[3][4] Since 2023 South Asian Games are also scheduled to take place in Pakistan in March, in the same time window that PSL takes place in, the dates for the tournament are still uncertain.[5] Although there is speculation that the tournament may take place in January and February of 2023.Now it was announced that matches palyed in Fenruary and March with stadiums of Lahore,Karachi,Rawalpindi and Multan to be used.[6]
