History

On 6 March 2022, Russian forces launched rocket strikes against the Havryshivka Vinnytsia International Airport. According to President Vladimir Zelensky, 8 rockets launched by Russia destroyed the infrastructure of Vinnytsia airport located in Central Ukraine.[1][2] Satellite imagery showed two buildings destroyed as well as one aircraft destroyed.[3] Ten people were killed in the strike and six injured.[4][5][6]

On 16 March 2022, Vinnytsia TV Mast has been hit by Russian rocket fire, knocking out the city’s broadcasting facilities.[7][8]

On 25 March, 2022, Russian forces launched an airstrike against the Ukrainian Air Force command center, which is located in Vinnytsia, Ukraine.[9] The airstrike consisted of six cruise missiles, which caused significant destruction to the infrastructure.[10][11]
