2022 New York Giants season

The 2022 season will be the New York Giants' 98th in the National Football League (NFL), and their first under the head coach/general manager tandem of Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen. They will attempt to improve from their 4–13 record from the previous season, and make the playoffs for the first time since 2016, as well as win the NFC East for the first time since 2011.

General manager

Fourth-year general manager Dave Gettleman resigned from the New York Giants on January 10, 2022, who most notably led the organization to draft Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, and other draftees.[1] On January 21, 2022, the Giants hired Joe Schoen, the former assistant general manager for the Buffalo Bills, as their general manager.[2]

Head coach

The New York Giants fired second-year head coach Joe Judge on January 11, 2022, who most notably led the Giants to a 2nd-place finish in the NFC East after his first stint.[3] On January 28, 2022, Brian Daboll, the former offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, was hired as head coach.[4]
