2022 FIFA World Cup Group D
Group D of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will take place from 22 to 30 November 2022.[1] The group consists of France, the AFC–CONMEBOL winners (either Australia, United Arab Emirates or Peru), Denmark and Tunisia. The top two teams will advance to the round of 16.[2]
France and Denmark were both in Group C of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, while two teams still in contention to qualify through the play-offs, Australia and Peru, were both in this group as well.

Discipline
Fair play points will be used as tiebreakers if the overall and head-to-head records of teams are tied. These are calculated based on yellow and red cards received in all group matches as follows:[2]
- first yellow card: minus 1 point;
- indirect red card (second yellow card): minus 3 points;
- direct red card: minus 4 points;
- yellow card and direct red card: minus 5 points;
Only one of the above deductions can be applied to a player in a single match.
